Maroznia started performing (singing, dancing & acting) at 10 years old with the Summer Theater Workshop in Southington, CT She also played principle roles and choreographed several musical productions with the local community theater, Castle Craig Players in Meriden, CT. She discovered belly dance in 2000 through Dr. Artemis Morris and advanced with Careesah as well as attended and continues to attend many workshops with Master Middle Eastern Dance teachers from the US and around the world.
Her natural flow of dance is inspired by her creativeness and deep love for all kinds of music.
Maroznia and her Troupe, Tribal de Luna (Moon Tribe), dance at events throughout Connecticut and surrounding states.
She has performed at several events, restaurants, & benefits throughout the state, and performed in a commercial for ESPN, to promote the Soccer league tournament in Turkey, 2005.
She is currently teaching a Belly Dance Technique class at Diversified Physical Therapy Exercise Studio and oversees Tribal de Luna Troupe rehearsals.
"Maroznia's Adornments" is another creative outlet for Maroznia where she makes and sells her own creations and also products from India and around the world. She is vending at many local and regional events.
She is the moderator for the BDCC, Belly Dance Community of CT yahoo group and FaceBook page.
In her real life she is a Licensed Massage Therapist, graduated from The CT Center for Massage Therapy 1996 / Reiki practitioner, level II / Certified Reflexologist and Hairstylist, graduated from Cheshire School of Hairdressing 1987.
She is currently exploring her Psychic Medium skills she has possessed her entire life.
Her animals have always been precious and she dedicates her love and time to her babies:
Her Potcake dog, "Caico", her Pionus Maximillion Parrot, "Princess Maxeenah", and her Fab Five Felines, "Krissy, Starr and Sisi, Shiloh and Lemieux."
She sends her love to "Mineoux, Sir Lancelot, Max, Dexter, Mama Kitty, Buddy, Nash, Lucas and Arie." They hold a special place in her heart! I miss you!
